    Hello

Todd here with Walton Fabrication. I love this site, have been a member for some time. It has been some time since I have been here, so good to be back! I have been busy with some new products, keeping a 16 year old boy in school, going to high school baseball games, dirt bike riding, and water skiing and wake boarding in the summer. I am building my wife a '55 Hudson Super Rambler two dr. wagon. pretty cool, it has sliding side windows like the Chevy Nomad wagon. little tiny back lift gate and I am installing a 4 cyl. Chevy Cobalt engine with a turbo charge on it. Currie 9" rear axle assembly with Wilwood 12" brakes out back and 13" up front with 6 piston calipers. should get the job done... I am also putting a Richmond 4+1 5 speed trans behind it. Will be lots of fun! I will try to post up pics when I get em. I have many great customers from the H.A.M.B. and it has driven the best customers to my business. I would like to thank you all who have used our products and thanks you for the great responses.

Another Rambler guy... sort of (referring to you!). I'm not a purist who has a problem with modernizing a cool ride, so don't worry about me getting on ya!!

I'm just questioning the Currie 9". You don't need anything near that strong with the drivetrain you're using. An older model Ranger (83-92) 7.5" axle is about the right width for the little Ramblers and a lot lighter in weight than any 9", and plenty strong for what you're doing. I just don't see the point in carrying all that extra weight (and strength) around. You might want to save that for something that needs it. But that's just my opinion...

Should be a fun, cool, and good looking ride just the way you're building it!

I am a dealer for Currie, I was originally going to install a SBC. but every does that, so I came across this Echo-Tech motor and thought, Wow, that would be fun with a turbo charger on it.... Brakes are over kill as well, again, dealer for Wilwood.
