Hi, my name is Charlie. I'm 16, and I'm just here to learn about the baisics of old school hotrod building, channeling, building a frame, and mostly wiring harness and brake setups. I just want to figure out if it'd be feasible for me to build a ratrod for myself. I've got an old 20's four door sedan shell that's got cool patina, and a 35ish Ford pickup that I could use some parts off of? I'm fairly clueless so I'll certainly ask dumb questions I'm a major gearhead, mostly I stick with 60's and 70's mini bikes, and vintage bicycles. I've got about a 69 Ford bronco as a go buggy, 289 v8. But it's got a bad knock to it, and I'm not sure if it's just a lifter out of adjustment, or something more serious. Glad to be here, and thanks for reading!
Sounds like you have a good at***ude and a willingness to learn. But you will want to get the term "r*tr*d" out of your vocabulary if you want people to help you on this forum, as that is derogatory word describing unsafe, rusted junk that should not be on the streets. Good luck to you.
