my son and i found a '55 pontiac chieftain 4dr in a barn. everything on it is original except for the alternator. we just ordered a gasket set because it does have one blown head gasket...other than a ten year old cheapass mako paint over, this old girl looks like a ten year old car as far as condition. we are thinking clean her up get the brakes rebuilt and drive her to sonic....too nice a car to hotrod and somebody is gonna wanna restore this sweetheart. barn finds are so cool when you find one like this. we will post pictures as work progresses. nick and chris
