Greetings to all from Mississippi. I'm pretty green at this posting stuff. My ride is a 55 (hence the catchy name..) Chevy. I built it from a total basket case into a decent driver. I do some shows, but, really rather be riding to and from the show than sitting behind my car listening to rather ignorant people that "just don't get it." I'm running a pretty stout 355, Comp Cam (292), Demon Carb, full MSD ignition, AFR heads, Tremec 5sp, 9" Ford w/3:70's... etc etc.. The car is just plain fun to drive. Favorite cruising event of late was Cruising the Coast down in Gulfport/Biloxi, but, well Katrina pretty much wiped that out for a few years. 55 Mike
Welcome! Sounds like a fun ride. There are quite a few '55 owners on here. Have you thought of going to the H.A.M.B. drags? Check it out through the search function............it's gonna be a blast!
