Hi, and yup I live in Singapore, great place, great weather, great wimin and plenty booze - just no friggin hot rods! Some of you (?) may have sussed I'm Scottish (where else do they say wimin instead of birds, etc.) and I have a few old fords back home in Scotland. My regular rod (before coming apart for a total overhaul) is a '34 3-window, stock ch***is and flathead with a gl*** body (I know, but there's steel stuff to follow) that Saint Mark over at hop-up Towers gratiously put on the front cover of the Feb '99 e-zine, and later followed up with a shot of me and my mate Liam in our kilts at the Towers before we headed to the 50th Roadster Show up at Oakland. Said I also have steel stuff: daily driver is a stock '63 Falcon Ranchero, 170ci 6-banger (or it was until the day I left to come back to Singapore and the starter went west!), and got a fully restored, rolling '32 ch***is with 4-banger, a complete '28 A tub, a 30/31 A pick-up flat packed, a British 'pop' and a stack of early ford spares to build em and keep em running. Also just done the Lonestar Roundup with Aussie Steve (aussiesteve on the H.A.M.B. funnily enough) so i'm the Scot mentioned in his dispatches! Cheers
