Used one of their kits in my 1962 Impala as a replacement motor was hard to get...works GREAT...Very happy with it

  2. Sorry about pullin this one out of the archives, but I just have to say that I am delighted with the Newport wiper motor that I just installed in my 55 century. Perfect bolt up. Had the whole caboodle working in no time. Pricey critter, but workmanship is highest quality and cannot fault.

When I built my 48 Olds conv, I lnstalled their kit with delay and washers as the Olds had factory washers. It fit in where the vacuum motor bolted on, had no problems, and the motor wotor works flawlessly. As someone else said the Gailbreths are both super people. I would recommend their kit to anyone

Last year I put a kit in my 55 ford and very happy with it even though I only used it a few times since installing.

I have one in my 55 Chevy pick up, only problem happens when you try to run them on high speed above 70 mph. They come around the curve in the windshield and the load to being them back blows the fuse. On my 48 Plymouth I have a problem with them not parking but continuing to run after turning them off. contacted the manufacture and adjusted as suggested, worked long enough to get the car inspected and a new sticker. I now just reach under the dash and pull and replace the power wire to the switch to activate them. I will probably buy another kit from them to replace the one in my 48.

Have been involved with 3 and wouldn't consider anything else. All original steel bodied cars- '26 &'28 sedans plus '32 3w.
