Like a parent who wants a better for thier children, the closest thing to "finishing" your project for yourself is seeing it go to a buyer that does it right. I relucatantly sold my '59 Squarebird a few months ago to free up room in the garage. I'm a few weeks from a year long deployment to Afghanistan so it makes things easier on the family to not have to deal with my cars and parts everywhere. I felt pretty good though when the guys from Wilson & Steely Kustom Coachworks took it off my hands. I dreaded the tire kickers that would stop buy asking "why did you put that weird exhaust on (bellflower)", or why my roof was painted like a bass boat... Fast forward to this past weekend at the Boston World of Wheels and there she was all done in a way I will never have the time, money, resources, or skills to do. It looked great, and felt great seeing it admired by so many. The guys who made it so grand are top notch, and a great bunch of guys. I may not own it anymore, and did none of the work to get it where it is now, but I'm glad to have been a link in the chain.
