Hi, I found this site several months ago when I decided I wanted to build an old coe truck. My name is Cholly and I live in the mountains of northern NH. Been messing with cars and trucks and motorcycles most of my life. I currently have a 90 suburban - lifted it 9" and converted it to a hummer diesel engine. We call it the "Hummerhoid" haha! I also have an 84 corvette I restored, and an old school harley bobber (Flyrite Chopper) that I built myself. I'm 44 new and grew up in NJ - was always wrenching on something - was surrounded by some nice ford and chevy muscle cars my friends and I owned. I had a nice 64 galaxy and an old 63 comet that I pulled the 6 cylinder out of and put a 302 4 speed in. Best friend had a 70 Merc cyclone with the 429 - was fastest car in town! Best freind is still wrenching on big block fords and i'm now building a chevy coe with a 454. Bought an 85 2wd Big Block this winter with low miles. We tore it down and have the frame all restored with por15 and the engine is sittting back on the chassis waitin for a new pair of clothes ( the coe cab.) I'm currently on the hunt for a nice coe cab for my project. I found the coe picture thread when I first found this site, and I'm always checking out all the projects you guys are working on. I'm looking forward to making some freinds with some of you coe builders on my coe journey! Hope you didn't fall asleep reading all this!
Cholly, there was a 50s Chevy COE for sale in Goffstown NH on CL just a short while back. Did you see that one?
