Got plenty of memories, just no pictures. Never mastered the art of being up to my ass in race cars while holding a camera at the same time.

My friends and I built our first Junior Stock K/S 59 Biscayne 283/185 back in 1966 and Im 72 now so they are probably dying off. Probably a good 1/2 of the cars posted on here arent Junior Stockers anyway, I dont remember the break but there were no A/S, B/S or C/S cars. I never took pictures back then, didnt seem important but it is now, wish I had. I have tons of later pictures from Bonneville in the 80s and 90s though

A few more from the same area

Royal Plum was the color on this 67 Chevelle 300 Deluxe owned by Jerry Jordan in 1967. You didn't see many of this model as most racers went for the SS396 package. This car had the potent 325hp 327ci engine

Is that the '66 or possibly the '66 wagon?

Can you trace the full pedigree of the car from Cal (or before), to Ralph, to Val, to Delmer, to ?
It's always neat to be reminded of a car that has passed so closely to home over the years.

    Thanks,
    c

    Skai High

chev60ss.jpg skaihigh1-2.jpg IMG_1169.jpg I acquired this '60 Bel Air "Skai High", which was raced by Fred Mitchell at Detroit, Onondaga and Martin Dragways from 61-64. I would love to see images of the car at the track. His brother-in-law drove the T-Bird tow car.
