That 55 4 door, "HAY BURNER", is a CANADIAN Model 150 4 door. Their 55, Model 150's, got the side trim ours were devoid of, and they also got "our" 210 station wagon wings. And, the Dana 56 Sedan Delivery has 150 and 210 fender spears substituted, and flipped side-for-side, for the normally shorter quarter spears. NHRA did say "mild customizing" was allowed. Also has the emblems deleted, and a pseudo vinyl roof. Hostage has lost the wings. I am Butch/56sedeandelivery.
The Xcellerator 57 wagon was, as far as I know, the first purpose built NHRA stocker in S Florida and was the car to beat at Master's Field in Miami in the old days.

It's interesting looking at all the Junior Stockers with the Stahl / Moroso decals because you can get an idea what year the photo may have been taken since this partership only lasted a year or more. Jimbo
You are right it seemed like everyone had a set of Stahl Headers or wanted to get a set. I remember how many sets of Stahl Headers were sent to Dick Moroso shop before he ever went to work for Jere Stahl. This used his Corvette as a test car to see which length and size tube worked best for a small block. Jimbo
I am testing to see if my scanning/posting skills will work. It's been a while since I did this. I have quite a few photos, most from the NW which I feel may be of interest. Judging from the background it appears I took this photo on one of our trips to the Winternationals. We don't have palm trees in Washington. Well, not many anyway.

Going out on a limb I believe this is the Hadford Bros, Kitsap County WA. Beautiful car it was. This was probably at Shelton or Bremerton tracks; not sure which.

Would have been nice if they could have kept it open after the couple of events they had there a few years ago (thanks to the moron in a Camaro who got onto/into the active runway area). Nothing really around there (Washington State Patrol proving grounds and the Shelton Prison), and that closed runway is just deteriorating. Same thing with the closed runway at Arlington. The drag strip that was supposed to be at The Ridge Motorsports Park in Shelton is't going to happen; it's just a stones throw from the airport. And, it looks like the "new" Bremerton Motorsports Track also won't be getting a drag strip like was originally planned. When the current Bremerton Raceway finally does goes away (the Port wants to develop that area for light industrial use), there won't be any drag racing in Kitsap County. Drag racing has gone on at the airport since 1956; the Handler's Racing Association has run it since 1959. Oh woe is me, and a LOT of others. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.
I loved those tracks. Went to Bremerton last summer to watch the BC Super Shifters. I got the feeling looking around that the old place is doomed. Lot's of memories of points meets, etc. I remember my first experience at seeing a 200 MPH run anywhere; Jerry Ruth ran 206 at that track and I must have talked about for months. My first trip to a drag strip was at Arlington. We drove all the way from Forks one weekend back in the 60's.

This 56, Model 150, "Handyman Wagon", owned by George Supinski, is the former Wayne Jesel owned Yoo Hoo Too Sedan Delivery, converted into a wagon to try and remain competitive. Is it blue with white stripes, or white with blue stripes? Has a "For Sale" sign in shoe polish; I heard it went to Canada when sold. Lot of work to make it into a Wagon. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.
