On the NHRA site: http://www.nhra.com/content/news/25710.htm Personally, I'm glad they're going back to BG... should have never left.
Motels are now blocking off rooms and you may have problems reserving a room now for a reasonable price. I just booked mine with the Days Inn, they are not blocking off rooms and still have some left (two double beds, $85.00 per night)
I went to the web site for the track and clicked on "MOTELS". Well too make a long story short, booked the same rooms for $67.00 on the old internet. Money is money when you will be driving 14 hours with your car.....
As of today, there are rooms available... takes a little research and hunting, but it can be done. Friend just booked some at the Best Western. I just booked some at a newly opened (12/17) place - Candlewood Suites. Right off the I-65 exit and on the main drag. A bit pricey but it's a suite w/ a kitchenette if ya feel the need to cook. Since they're , no one is aware ... until now! 270-843-5505.
