Finally, after a brutal winter here in southern Ohio, we had a great weekend. 70's and almost the 80's with no humidity. After all of my yard chores, I dusted of the cobwebs, started up the Chevy and got to go cruisin'. The first time out after nearly 5 months is a great feeling. Lots of motorcycle, convertibles and late models out with the same idea. Here's a few shots in the park after a long winter's sleep. Did anyone do the same?
Funny we did the same today, yardwork yesterday, but I found time to take the 36 for errands, today was a nice ride with the wife and kids in the rumble seat....
Today, as of 1:00 PM, in ColoRODo, we are getting snowed on...forecasters are calling for 4-7 inches before noon tomorrow. Yesterday (Saturday) it was 72 degrees and we were out cruising the '60 wagon enjoying our "Spring"... Enjoy your brief Spring, the storm is coming your way...!!! R-
The snow won't be flying but today's high of 82 is really going to be missed come Tuesday with the low of 34 with rain and a high of 50...it's gonna hurt. HRP
You can't count on the weather to be even bad in Wyoming. Yesterday 70 degrees and no wind, This morning 4" of snow with 30 mph winds and a temp of 15! Too bad I had too many honeydos to get out a car and go for a spin. oh well there is next week.
Yep, got the coupe out and cruised to Clayton, New Mexico for the best mexican food in the five state area. Also pulled a small cargo trailer that we rebuilt over the winter. Trailer pulls great. If you have ever travelled in a Model A coupe you know how much you need the extra room. Always fun getting the first drive after a long winter. Will be heading to Port Aransas in the coupe in a few days. Wish us luck, that will be a long drive. Cant wait.
79 here yesterday & took the deuce roadster out for a short spin. Today high of 29 and snowing like it's Alaska....WTF....Wait a few days and it will be much better I hope.
40 Stude Dude- I hear ya, my man. Just heard the 42 degrees and snow mixed with rain will be here tonight.*****!
Here in northern Wi.,Actually had some nice spring days last week, had one of our OT hobby cars out for a little cruise, this morning woke up to 3+ inches of snow, 20 deg. Winter is not giving up yet, there will be spring, summer, its on the calendar, has to be. Definitely looking forward for the nice weather, its been a record setting LONG, COLD WINTER here and a lot of bad weather all over the country, C'MON Spring, Summer! John
Harleyjohn45, we enjoy the "Rabbit Ears Cafe" in Clayton. Named after the mountain north of town. Couple of miles south of the downtown intersection. What part of NM are you in?
