so while out at the local yard, i was on the hunt for a hood to my project car. we'll i got side tracked when i found a 40 ford frame and it had all the running gear, flat head, trans. just missing the front axle and spring. pulled the dip stick and the oil in the block looks GREAT!!!(hope its not cracked) there was also a cleanly boxed model a frame and some nice '35 16 inch wires. picked up the whole lot for $500.gonna go back and see if i can find a front axle. i guess its time to build the model a i have been wanting to build. now i just need a body..
nice find. when engines sit the oil almost always looks great, on the stick. the dirt and crud falls to the bottom.
