I agree. I sold my 32, 5 window body when, after 6 months of searching, I couldn't find a left quarter panel. The original had suffered too many crashes on the oval tracks...also, somebody had cut out the rear window to weld in wire mesh and I couldn't find a new rear window surround either. If I'd have stored it until Brookville began making this stuff, I'd have it today.

 

Well buy it now price got dropped to $47,000 now. I think he woke on the other side of the bed today.

 

I paid $1000 canadian for my '32 3w in '82. The greybeards thought that was outrageous. I am finally working on it by the way. In '85 I sold a '33 3w body for $2000... I thought I'd robbed the bank. In '87 I bought my '32 5w for $1600.... and thought prices were getting stupid. As time goes on I'm truly glad I bought when I did. If I was starting our today, I'd be forced to call a '75 Maverick my hot rod project.

 

60 K US you wana live down here and pay an extra 40 cents in the dollar FARRK..........

He s also got a hand made 3 window body a guy out at grand island was making for hotrods and horsepower.its liable to be up for sale soon.

 

Gee whiz....glad I chopped my 3w last December while they were cheap(ruined the value of it, some say. Guess I'll just have to keep it another 30 years then)....that way the stock toppers can be worth more to somebody.....this stuff is as outragous as the prices on transfrerable machineguns....supply and demand, they say...wow
