Hey everybody! I just bought myself a project truck (see pic). It's a '62 Merc Custom Cab unibody with a 223 inline six and three-speed. I considered buying it the first time I saw it, which was 4 or 5 years ago. I finally bit the bullet and made the deal ($250 Canadian!). It's pretty rough but I think it has some definite potential.

The truck is sitting for the winter awaiting a new floor, and my goal is to get it running by the summer. The motor hasn't run for some time but I suspect it was rebuilt just before it was parked (there's an info plate on the block that gives the details). It does have one stuck piston and a hole in one exhaust valve but all in all it looks pretty good for a motor that sat in a field for a decade or two!

I'll be browsing the site looking for inspiration and ideas (I've found several already). Comments and suggestions are welcome! :D
