Is it the pic, or is the frame broke there?
Only reason I ask is it doesn’t seem to be in a stressed area, well, maybe with the roads in the 30’s!
    Damned cool car either way!

That is the wrapping on the leaf spring, not the frame

    I see.

Im sure you have a price in mind, but there is a following for the original Dodges of that era, the Dodge Brothers Club might be able to assist with finding it a home with someone who has deep pockets
I used to be a member 20 + years ago, I think they are still pretty active all over.
Just don’t mention upgrading to newer zerk fittings;)

Awesome find! Anxious to see it after it gets a bath. What year is the license plate on there?

Mine had tin leaf spring covers also. they were in such great shape that I bolted an 8in to them. The metal on these cars is solid. To bad your not building it or putting on the back burner.

The 1933 is on it's way to Oregon with the new owners. Sellers are happy and buyer is happy too.

The proportion of the top to the rest of the car is just perfect IMHO. There's a guy here that has a 29 Dodge coupe about in the same condition. He just fixed it up as a driver. Cool car.

  19. This....I never laughed so hard, and haven't since. I tried to find it years ago, but couldn't. It's classic.Anyone got a link?
Awesome lines on that coupe, btw. I wouldn't modify a thing on that body, just nice paint.

The traditional treatment works so well on these early 30s Dodges. They look super tuff. Too bad most of them get turned into off topic street rods.

I certainly wouldn't have been able to afford this one.
But a pretty good-looking 1934 Plymouth coupe body and frame for sale near me a couple days ago. $3,000.
Checked to see if I could swing it. Quick now, before it's gone.

Where did it go in Oregon? I live there and am hoping maybe to see it at an event! Heck of a nice car that just needs some good cleaning and servicing!

Looks like the couple that bought it picked it up with a UHaul trailer behind their Motor Home. What a great adventure I'll bet that was. Sounds like a Win-Win... Thanks for posting.

  24. My RPU i bought back in august, had four red tubes in them. Two didn't make it out alive. The neighbor kids have never heard a tire blowout before. They got to hear it twice, in one day
