Nightmare modified update

I havent posted about it in a while but I have my engine almost finished and have decided to share it with everyone, I dont have my carbs done yet but a few pics of the rest. The frame is pretty well set, i just need to do some finish grinding and hit the body. I plan on having a painted ch***is and installed engine and trans next weekend. Probabley 2 weeks after that the body will be done and painted and I can put it on, wire it and fire it! through the snow we'll go to the ba*****t!

The engine is a 63 volvo unit, 2 stromberg side draft carbs, 4 speed B18, cant wait to take it out and run around

 

one thing that I dodnt take pictures of is that the front of the frame has been Z'd 6 inches to keep it down to the ground

 

That's a loud green, body going to be the same color?

 

Considering it, the color is grabber green, I am pretty sure I can get it in a quart, that would be enough to spray the body and grille shell.
I think the rest will be black, the frame/suspension/wheels etc...

 

I think the car will be too awesome to necessitate all that color. Save the neon hues for the cars that need it for attention. respect regardless.

I had a 26 roadster with volvo running gear, it was a hoot. had a belly pan so there was leg room for all. trans was exposed. steel crank,forged pistons, good choice.

Man, I LOVE that green! I'm thinkin' black suede, green steelies, engine, rear diff, and front axle.. And plenty of green pinstripping. kool...... Keep us posted. I'd like to hear the volvo run. I had a 62 but never did anything with it before I let a buddy talk me out of it.
