Well this is where I'm at now, Gambino tail dragger kit installed. Its my first time doing something like this, so I feel like it turned out pretty good.

Git the rockers chopped out of it today, and then for fun I threw the door on and set the fender up next to the car. It's been so long since the last time it resembled a car

I've certainly been making a lot of progress lately. After going to the hamb drags, it really made me kick it in to high gear. The front already has dropped uprights, but I'll be bagging it too. The guy who had the car before me cut the coils a bit too much and then made some goofy spacers to compensate for it. So I'll eventually get around to making it right. I had already bought all the sheet metal for the floors and body though, so I figured I'd go ahead and put all that stuff together before I attack the front suspension. One small step at a time I suppose! :D

This thread actually inspired me to go out and work on my shoebox right this very moment. Thanks for the kick in the ***!

Question. I noticed on the rear end 4-bar links that the lower links are much shorter than the top links. Won't this cause a large change in the rear end pinion angle as the frame moves up and down. A true 4-bar would have equal length bars top and bottom which would ( provided the other two Vertical bars are equal length too ) allow the frame to move up and down while keeping the pinion angle fixed??? Am I missing something ?

That's funny because most of us here in Maine would pronounce the number 40 " Fottie " . Not because we talk baby talk...its because we have a tough time with the letter R. That's why we say PAAAK , not Park, and HAAAVAAD , not Harvard. I drive a Nineteen Fottie eight FOD . :D

With it being triangulated, It doesn't seem to have much change in pinion angle. I cycled the suspension up and down and it seems like it'll be ok. Hopefully I'm right lol :p

Well I got the engine and trans in with Butch's kit and a Chevy II oil pan. I did have to notch the crossmember to use that pan with that kit. But unfortunately the jamco kit that fits better... Well it's from jamco, and we don't need to get in to that. Overall I'm pretty happy with fitment. I'll get pics of the notch sometimes soon.
