Search for the magazine - yes. Don't go and do a bunch of web searches about the actual product or looking for it.. You will be tagged for searching. If you can't find the past issue - I can probably get one from Scott. PS - Didn't realize you got on a cover issue.
OK, didn't know or remember that. I just remember the hoopla over the diesel fuel and fertilizer mixture being easy to do, and the limits they put on amounts you could purchase at one time.
Clueless? Where did you come up with that non-factual bit of information? Do you think that we have no TV, radio, or other forms of communication? Here is a tidbit for you? We have national news, local news, satellite TV, etc. We even have telephones and email as well as Fox News and other less reliable cable news networks. Apology gracefully accepted.

Seeing all the uses for nitro, I would guess that the suspension in sales has more to do with having access to it for more important things than racing.
Let me clarify. Schumacher stopped selling it do to the virus. They closed the shop temporarily. Nitro can still be purchased from sunoco in Texas. It has to be shipped at a substantial cost. I drove to Schumachers and picked it up. Nitro does have three other commercial uses. One in the agricultural industry. Apparently they spray it on fruit or something like that. The other use is a form of floor stripper. Then there is a medical use that I don't know about. It can be made into several grades including a medical grade. A search on the internet will show a bunch of suppliers but none will sell to a racer even if they have a cvi number. The reason I started this thread was to let the nitro racer know about the changes in supply. Granted there is no racing now. Teams still need to fire up cars and set up fuel systems. They need time to plan ahead.
Diesel fuel, ammonium nitrate and he opened several bottles of oxygen inside the van. Made one hell of a boom.
Didn't happen that way. I got my info directly from homeland security when they were at my house. Were did you get yours the reliable internet? McVeigh tried to buy nitro at the race in Kansas. The guy selling it wouldn't sell it to him because he said he had a bad feeling about the guy. As he left he made a comment about how nitro could kill alot of people. He was reported to homeland security but they didn't catch up to him in time. McVeigh was successful getting a drum at the Dallas race. The rest is history. This is why homeland security considers it a chemical of interest one of two hundred they keep track of. I'm not going to get into specifics but McVeigh was a military trained explosive expert. He knew how to make a specific shock wave to knock the building down as compared to just a big bang. I'm happy our government is keeping close watch over these chemicals. The worlds full of bad actors.
Not all of us are Clueless! But your right there are many who are. Trouble is everyone thinks they are special and don't have to follow the rules. What it is gonna come down too is the military and Armed deputized citizens are gonna end up making these "Special People" mind the bans by force. Myself or my family has not been out of our house in 8 days and we plan to stay here and stay safe. There are so many people out and about that should not be, I saw guys delivering lumber to a job site. I see hair salons open and a ton of other places that should be closed. It is a fact that there is no cure for stupid! Geez WTF is wrong with people? I realize they are afraid that if they do not open their business that they will lose everything, But losing everything is better than Dying or Killing others!
