I've always had a great deal of trouble identifying the HAMBers I have met at show because of this stuff--I can barely remember my own name, and everyone seems to have 2 or 3. My head locks up, and I go back to looking at things with part numbers...

Tha's cool, I just feel like an idiot that it took me so long to figure out that Lee wasn't part of your first name. Guess I spent all together too much time in the south.

I don't think I'll change my name though, someone introduced me as BenD this year, and he's got a really cool phone booth.

 

yeah, I feel kind of dopey with all the "alter ego" names I used because I 'thought" they were cool, plus, if noone knew who I was, I wouldn't feel stupid getting picked on, 'cause it "wasn't me".
