No Pertronix Ignitor for 39 Plymouth - Now what?

    Honest question.

    Many (Most) older distributors are very well made and are made out of some really good metal, over the years and mileage they build up rust and grease on the advance weights and the breaker plate holding the points.
    In many case all thats needed to make this old unit perfect is just a major clean up!
    We hot water clean (185degrees ) these parts, blow dry then glass bead all the metal insides etc. After the glass beads the parts are ran on a grinding wheel with a brass brush and then polished on a fiber brush.
    Now the old parts are super clean and shiney the sprayed with a special spray lube and reassembled . Very seldom are new parts needed , the old parts are in perfect shape after this process.....

    Having had Bubbas-Linder rebuild and convert to electronic my old Y block Holley distributor I can testify to his expertise and great service.

    My distributor came back like a new unit, a thing of beauty.
