We are not cooking a pig this year but HAMBers and friends are welcome to come by my place after the show and hang out, drink beer, BS etc. The reason I decided against the pig is now that the show is a one day affair, people stay at the fairgrounds longer and not as many at my place at feeding time. Can't wait!
Maybe a good compromise would be to get a really small pig and make a few of BLT's? haha. Either way STUGOTS always have a great time, love seeing current projects, and appreciate your ongoing hospitality
whole pig prices went crazy around here...if you can find it local. last pig out we went to they bought parts, and i think it worked out better due to quicker cook times.
Kev,If you were in my part of the country,,you could find a whole hog lying on the side of the road..DEAD...damn wild pigs anyway. They sure can mess up a car if you happen to hit one.
