  1. do you happen to have a close up picture (s) of all the pedals in place, brake, clutch, gas...would be great to see, really like all facets of your build

Oh really? What were you in?
What can I say.......I like to drive this car fast....(right Tommy) hehe...it runs best at higher rpms....and psst (I was never "floored")......:D

They're 3:27......or at least thats what I interpreted the tag to say. Seems about right....pulls pretty good through all the gears yet will still cruise down the freeway @ 75ish pretty smooth like.
I really should put a tach in her.....

Yessir! And it rides nice, too! :)

So I met up with Josh last week on a business trip I had to the Seattle area. He's a super cool dude! He picked me up from my hotel in the T and we went to a car show....and the next week I joined him and some friends at a fantastic shop in Tacoma! Thanks again, Josh! Had a great time... And please thank Marshall for letting me hang out with y'all last week.

Here's some random pics from the car show and some from the shop.

Here ya go...the pedal is a Speedway/Mr. Roadster part....basic spoon pedal with a splined shaft so you can clock it's position.

  16. thanks! I really appreciate the legwork on getting pics and info! Also it is great to see you built your car in this way, namely having a 4 speed!

Yep....'40's Ford 16"er's with motorcycle tires...

  25. I love your car as you know, where I am a bigger guy 6/1 235 I am wondering if when I build mine (which will also have a 4 speed) if I should make it so the shifter handle comes up and over to the right more. I likely will not be channeling the car, so perhaps I will have more distance from floor to shifter to make such an offset work. I appreciate your thoughts on this. Thanks!

  26. I like it!! looks great

Yer gonna have to have the handle kick over....no way around it with a side shift 4 speed...unless ya don't mind shifting UNDER your right leg...:D
I made my own...but Hurst has handles with big offsets...

  28. Any pics of what you fabbed, I'll do the same, thanks again!

    Thanksgiving drive...
.something I do every year in an old car. Nothing like showing up for dinner smelling like gas, exhaust fumes and burnt rubber. :D
