Please.....I need to know how to remove the horn ****on off a late 30's ford coupe. I am aware there is a shaft coming off the back of the ****on, but I don't know where it ends, or how it is attached. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Try an air chisel....If it should happen to break, don't worry, they're a dime a dozen....:D

    What year is it?

I know that on 32 Fords, the wiring runs down a shaft to a bucket that's held on to the end of the steering box with a clip. This bucket contains the actual light switch, and needs to be un-hooked-up to remove the shaft, which is attached to the horn ****on surround.

So, take a look at the end of your steering box. But then again, later Fords are different, so your setup might be different.

What deucerails said. Check for a little clamping device on the end of the steering box. the horn ****on has a long shaft attached to it. the shaft is clamped at the bottom of the steering box. You might have to remove the light switch first.

After you remove the light switch, if I recall correctly there should be a clip with a notch in the side. Depress and remove. If I recall correctly. Wayno
