first post of any kind - ever. kinda scary. I'm the guy you see leaving the show before judging - saw all I wanted to see and didn't care about trophys. Also the first to arrive and a**** the last to leave a nostalgia drag racing event. Working on a "54 Bel Air 2dr hdtp - identical to my Dad's brand new Chevy in '54. Also working a 60's era Fiat Topolino drag car. Just retired last Friday after 40 years at Xerox Corp. They don't want guys like me around any more. Hope to get more garage time and more race time from now on. Have reached my knowledge limit on the '54 and will soon be there also in the Fiat. Hope this site will be a big help in completing my projects. I also have a garage full of stuff I don't really need any more and will be posting it for sale. I'm not in business so I don't mind selling cheap to help someone along with their project.
welcome to the site...post up pix of your cars...would love to see the Topolino...I'm with you no trophies...trophy queens are okay though
