noisy 3 speed

I plan on pulling it apart but I wondering if anyone has an idea whats going on with it?
It makes a clunking sound going from 1st to 2nd.It
might be when it's coming out of first.
2nd to 3rd is fine.Any idea?

 

I'll take the blame! Last time I drove it I thought it was a real toploader and did a 1-2 powershift. Sorry. By the way, Bob has got your old sedan lookin' GOOD!!!

 

Any noise or 'clunking'in 1st or rev.? If so a chipped tooth may be the culprit.

Sound's to me that it could be some endplay problem.
But when you take it apart you may see the problem easier
