After a rebuild kit in my saginaw 4 speed, it is noisy. Will it get better with time? Kit included new bearings. Any ideas? Gears look good.
    Thx

Noisy in all gears? With clutch pedal depressed? Got a shift boot? How well sealed is ithe boot to the floor and shiflt lever? What are you using for lube? Which bearings were replaced? Did you rebuild it to reduce the noise?

The inside diameter at the ends of the counter shaft gear is the bearing race, along with the shaft.

If those surfaces were bad it will be noisy, mostly in 1, 2, 3, and 4th is "direct"

I would not expect it to get better with time.
