My vote is for lars tuck and roll...lot of work went into that and it turned out pretty cool...
I also really liked the s-10 post also well done..
also vics32 chevy dash post ...Fat-hack should get a hamb degree for all his excellent posts..
hell they were all good...and it's really a shame to have someone win just because more guys doing one thing or another that interested them at this time ...in my pinion they are all winners and maybe they they should all get some some sort of certificate of award for being nominated for tech posts...God I love this place...I think everybody on the hamb makes this board what is is even the gab sessions can be inspirational at times especialy for us frozen cannuks that really don't have car things to do at this time of the year except freezing to death...They were all great..and I really couldn't just choose one...My thanks to all the guys who spend so much time to share all their stuff here for us all to benifit from and all the help that gets passed around from car stuff to just being there when somebody needs a hand or some advice...thanks Hambers ....fatchuk

    whizzerick's water transfer decals.

There were lots of great posts with lots of good information but,

Rick's post showed like Titus' before him,

that with a little creative thought we can be our own best resource,

    that NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE,

and that is just too damn cool.

  12. I don't wanna be a whino or anything but aren't nominations and votes different things? As in once a post has been nominated you don't need to nominate it again? Save the effort for the vote? Either way it's been a good week, wish I could have participated but I'm garage-less for the moment (not to mention I have two left hands). It's been a good a week, I like the tech week concept, to get it to be better it should be monthly or bi-monthly and announced in advance, give everybody an opportunity to join in. Anyway, my nomination has already been nominated.

Spiders for $10 a wheel was great, but I will have to go with Tuck and Roll Tech. I plan on using both. Great Job guys.

  22. Lot's of good stuff!!! I was sold on Whizzerrick's decals, but the S-10 swap won me over...I want to do that to an early Ford truck someday!

    Thanks to everybody who contributed!!!

  23. Hard to choose, they all were great. Think I have to go with the whitewalls for number one. I'm going to try it! Second place, the decals and third the tuck and roll!

  29. 1) How a stripe is born
    2) S-10 swap
    3) Dash Knobs, I always thought it was layered liquid resin, not sheets of material laminated.

These Tech weeks are great, I could get used to this.

I like the S-10 frame swap, even though I'll probably never own an S-10 and don't know why anyone would want to put an old frame under one. I like the stripper one too.
