Technical Non Ford highboys

Fords Fords Fords! All I find are Ford highboys.

Let's see some of those non-Ford highboys.

 

Best looking one I ever saw was a magazine cover car in the 70’s. It was a mid 30’s Mopar, on a 32 Ford frame. Golden yellow.

 

My '31 Plymouth coupe.

 

AlChemy: The car you are speaking of was owned by Jim Niblett and first appeared at the Oklahoma NSRA show in the mid 70's and then on the cover of Rod & Custom shortly after. It was some sort of Mopar Roadster/Cabriolet body
Jim went on a few years later to build a chopped 33/34 Burgundy Mopar coupe on Mopar rails.

HRP’s light blue Ply is another good example of a non-Ford highboy on a Ford frame. Kinda makes ya think, don’t it?
