the auto manufactures started "non-functional add on's", how about hub caps, hood ornaments, stainless or chrome trim that serves no purpose other than being intended to be more appealing to the eye and boost sales.

so when adding things strictly for your perception of looking good, I have no problems at all. I/you/they/them might not like it, but I say do what you like.

i'm sure there's a genre for most everyone, just might not be on the HAMB

Certain persons better look out, 'cause this forum has its own regulations and enforcement. I see some potential violations here and your privileges might end up getting impounded for breaking the rules. Just sayin'

I prefer real steel by far but I have no issues with gl*** cars, if that's what you want to build I'm cool with it... till you call it a 32 Ford (or whatever). Replica, OK but don't call it a Ford. A local guy built a gl*** 32 3 window on an aftermarket ch***is. I like the car ok, even worked on it some but he came in complaining that the state wanted to ***le it as "special construction". He wanted it ***led as a 32 Ford. I asked him why, what part of a real 32 Ford is there? He said none so I told him it NOT a 32 Ford then, is it. He got really mad at me for saying that.
I was looking at a 32 High boy at a show, nice traditional style car, well built but with an obvious gl*** body, aftermarket frame, disk brakes, 350/350 Chevy, ect. You know, pretty common catalog built car (nothing wrong with that) but it had a sign with it claimed to be a gennie 32 roadster built in the 50's. I questioned the owner about the sign, he said it's a real steel 32 Ford, we just covered the body with fibergl*** to preserve the old tin. Yeah, OK. Hadn't heard that one before!

******* Bars? Now this is just getting hateful. That there is bolt on fast! Proven and endorsed by the National Federation of Planets, As Seen On TV, Ronco, A guy that knows Evel Knievel's stunt double's brother and a bunch of other fast folk. I don't even think their legal anymore due to the edge racers got with 'em.

Hey fellas... arguing on the internet is best left to conspiracy theorists, political minded idiots, and little girls with pink lace ******* on facebook. We don't really cater to any of those groups here.
