Hello all; I tinker with too many projects, I have too many projects, I spend too much money on all of them, and I have managed to find a wife who smiles through all of it. I am particularly interested in pre-'59 Cadillac/LaSalle and big block Cadillac performance. Story behind my screen name; last year I decided to drive my '58 Cad from Oklahoma City to Nebraska...it caught fire on the highway and I woke up 6 days later in Lincoln. It was ****py, but there's no better get well present to yourself than going out and buying a carbon copy of the car that just nearly killed you. Hence the name. I am now back on my feet again and want to build more than ever. Looking forward to the forums. I've attached a pic of the old '58 and my profile pic is the new one, the "phoenix58."
Welcome fellow FNG, I'm from Mebane.......a whole in the road between Durham and Greensboro. Glad you survived the Caddy incident, but it takes dedication to want another. Good for you.
