Hi yall, a friend showed my this site a while back, so i thought I'd join up. Currently im into building Jeeps, I have 2 TJ's. The first is a 99 thats lifted bout 6in, has 36" tires on Walker Evans beadlocks, arb lockers front and rear with 4.56 gears and upgraded shafts... The second is in project state. It will have a 383 sbc with nitrous pushing out about 500hp & 500 ft. lb. torque, built 7004r, dana 60's front an rear, 39-42" tires. Once those Jeeps are "finished" I plan on building a 54 bel-air or a 50's Caddy. I want it chopped, channeled, and sectioned, throw on some bags, a built 427 and th400 trans. It will be painted black, with gold scalops accross the hood, and roof, with white pinstriping. I go to college and im working on my BSME degree. Hopefully I can get to work on a cool car by fall or winter time.
Where are you going to school? I did Jeeps 20 years ago but they were all CJs 5s and 7s for the most part. I like your Bel Air plan. Check out Hoboy56's Caddy. He's in Ypsi. Dan
Good for you. One of the local boys signed with them last year for baseball, I think. He's been up there almost a year now. He's been pretty busy but sounds like a decent school. If you can help it, don't go into the automotive industry!
