Gonna post under Doobie, since you guys all ready had a Thad.

    I currently own a 68 SS-396 Chevelle, 4 speed runs 13.50s @ 106,
    a 72 Chevelle SS with a ZZ-502 that runs 12.1s @ 112, and an
84 Corvette with 170,000 plus miles on it.

I've been into cars my mother tells me since I was 3, I'm 40 now.
I like just about anything with an engine.

The Traditional Hot Rod thing, blows my mind. I can't believe it took so long for it to com back around.

I found this site courtesy of my buddy Dan, who coincidently painted my 72 Chevelle in a former cattle barn. With body work done by our friend Jay, and myself.

Dan's not afraid to start any project, I'm a little more cautious.

Well, today I get back to Dan's work area, and asked if He'd seen "Hard Shine" last night, because the little guy, has the coolest car I've ever seen. Dan says "Sure the whole build up of that car is on the HAMB site".

I say "the what site" he sends me a link, and here I am.

If that guy didn't win the "contest" for the job at So-Cal, there is something wrong with those guys.

Jimmy Shine's pick up, is very cool, the 32 he built for Detroit Autorama with the Ardun headed flatty Ford was a beauty, but "the little man's coupe is as signifcant, as either of those.

I'd bet 10 years from now people will still be talking about it.

My first notice of a rusty rod was the Pete and Jakes Barkat 32 Sedan Delivery, I saw in Hot Rod magazine in 1983 or 84.

The Dudes who built that yellow 29 on "Rides" were/are an insperation as well.

Can't say I'm gonna build one soon, but I sure like the idea, of something light weight, that'll pass tech, and go 11s, and remain pump gas friendly, that I'm not afraid to park somewhere I can't see it the whole time.

I had a super tidy 68 Mustang that was so nice I didn't enjoy it at all, because anytime somebody got too close to it I'd have a fit.

Anyway the current "value" er prices of musclecars is taking alot of the fun out of them. And the pricks are getting too expensive to drive too.
