Got reccomended to this site from a wheeling site I am a member of. Been looking a lot more seriously in the last couple months about picking up a project rod. Traditional rods are what have always gotten my blood pumping so here I am.

Anyways I am a photographer, kayaker, rockcrawler, import racer (oxymoron I know) and general all around car enthusiast (regardless of country of origin).

I am on here pretty much to get info and chat with like minded people. I get tired of talkign to people about rods and all I hear is about how to build a trailer queen...if you aren't going to drive it then don't bother building it is my opinion.

Anyways my real name is John and if I come off as a***** don't worry I do that sometimes, but overall I am good people (yeah everyone says that).

Been keeping my eyes open for old metal but nothing has appeared yet :(
I have a friend who does jukebox refurb and works on old car stereos as well and have been keeping a bug in his ear for any scrap metal rigs lying in the fields, he usually has a pretty good ear to the goings on around here with old cars. He owns a 65 Vette, 53 Chevy and a Rocket 88 so he runs in those crowds a little.
