Hello all, My name is Nick, and I have been a fan of old cars for as long as I remember. At first I was into Aircooled VW's, and now, I think that my tastes are maturing a little bit. I am 2 months shy of 21, and an engineering student at ASU. Just last night I sold my daily driver 2001 blazer and within the next few weeks plan on picking up an old piece of American iron. I have my heart set on a 51 Lincoln I have been looking at, I look set to pick it up this weekend. Plans include lowering, and maybe under dash AC (not very traditional I know), I have also toyed with making a pan-am themed car. Let me know what you think.
Hey Nick * Nice 51 Cosmo ! The Answer Is Simple Your Car Your Call ! That Said, Go At It Slow At First. Gather Up The Idea's. Write Them Down, Think Them Over. You Are The Guy That Will Be Happy With Your Choice. You Might Do Something Others Wanted You To Do & You'll Think Back And Say I Wish I Did What I Wanted. Happens A Lot. Welcome To The Hamb. That Is One Of The Nicest 51 I've Seen ! If You Get It At A Good Price Thats Great, The More Fixet Work You Have To Do The More The Car Cost In The Long Run. Good Solid Car , That's A Savings. Take It From There Nick. Good Luck. Rich
thanks Rich, it appears to be a real solid mostly original car. the same guy has owned it for 30 years. I can't wait until this weekend when I pick her up.
A/C may not be traditional, but the heat in AZ I'm sure is. Man, that Lincoln looks like an excellent start!! Welcome to the HAMB!
