New to the site, but this will be year three at the Michigan Billetproof show as a spectator. Great time, people, music, and rods. I have grown sick of the "look at my new kit/digital/crate/billet/fiberglass... car, that cost too much money to drive" If i wanted to look at your new***** that you spent too much money on, I would pick up a cataloge! ooh by the way I don't have anything older then 78
Welcome from west Michigan. You will have to let us know what you are building or driving. No need to keep secretes here.
The only thing I could add is with an attitude like that you cant have a lot of friends. I went to the doctor today and he is a car guy. He says follow me i wanna show you somthing and you prolly wont like it. I told him hey ive got an open mind I like cars. He shows me his new used Porshe.. I told him sweeeeeeet. I also told him i rather see him in a hot rod and he just smiled.. Lighten up with your first post attitude. Dave
Sorry for the rough start but too much caffinee and a boring Friiday before billetproof gets me wired. I had a great time at the show ang got a bunch of pictures and one movie of a burnout. Got to talk to "Mrs. Billetproof" and tried for the second year to get a Michelin man shirt. Right now I'm rebuilding a 78 CJ7 and have had my eye on the car in front of fenton salvage.
Been there and want to do something different. It has gotten just as bad with the cataloges and the same parts everyone uses. free thinking modifications, not just what everyone else is doing this year
