North Central Kansas HamB-BQ!!!

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by FarmallPete, Jun 10, 2005.

  1. I got a decent amount of interest from the Kansas Hambers about having a little get together and breaking some bread.

Date July 23rd: time to be determined. depends on you guys

Place: the eating will take place at my house, if you break out a map, it's North and East of Topeka about 25 minutes, west side of Lake Perry, just at the north end of K-237. I will provide the burgers and dogs and soda, ifn ya want something else, you'll have to bring it. If someone else can provide buns and such that would be cool, some sides would be great also.

If N8inks is cool with it, we could all meet up at his place, about 30 minutes the back way from my house, hang for awhile, then take some back roads to my place around the lake, see if we can't scare the **** out of some the boat and camping people.

I can scare up some horseshoes, volleyball, stuff like that. Nothing over the top but, hey, I'm from Kansas. I did p*** up a set of lawn darts at a flea market, dang wish I would have gotten them!!!

Your better halfs and kids are welcome.

If you plan on showing up, email me, and I can give you better details,
Let me know if you can bring something

Also, if any pinstrippers show up, bring your paint box, I'd love to have my golf cart stripped, and I ain't no gold-chainer :D

    thanks

I will bring my "World Famous" potato salad and some Coca-cola. 2 adults and 2 kids.

Depending on the temp, we might want to have it later in the day?

Watch out for his potato salad. It's 'world famous' because it's killed people all over the world.

Oh, right. Right. I knew somebody died from something last year. Did the farmer ever find the body you buried in the field? Who was that, anyway?

That was some guy that showed up late...And it must have been a reaction with the ingredients in the clam sauce and the exhaust fumes from the flatty.

I'll have to check in with the boss to see what's on the schedule, but I'll try to make it up there. That might be about perfect for a shakedown cruise in the '40 sedan. It should be painted by the end of June and I'll start re***embly after that. That is, if I can stop looking for and buying projects long enough to finish one!

Just seen this post. We have a wedding to attend, but would like to swing by on the way home. There would be three of us.
