I should've joined this forum back when I had some older vehicles ('67 F-100, '70 F-100, '65 Biscayne, '75 Cutlass, '75 Torino, skads of 77-85 B-bodies). But I'll be getting closer. 1998 and 1997 Luminas are all I have at the moment and the '79 Delta 88 I sold a few months back will be back in my possession soon. Guy who bought it from me made some repairs, took it through inspection, and now wants to sell to buy a truck. I'll be more than happy to take back my Royale With Cheese. Haven't browsed through the forums yet, but curious if anyone here is using newer models to make rat rod style customs? I've seen a nice 1993 Roadmaster around here with flat black satin paint, and it's a car that deserves some flames and smoothies...maybe if I can scrape up a grand to buy it, I can do it myself! This should be fun...
Welcome from Mesquite. Actually this is a more traditional forum. 63 is the suedo cut off date. Anything older people really dig, but for newer stuff you might try hotrodders.com. But come on in. Lots to be learned.
I may not be able to show off the cars I can afford, but I can learn about the ones I can't. Maybe learn enough to build one up from a barn find. Who knows. Either way, this site has been recommended to me time and time again, so I might as well check it out. Thanks!
'75 is a latemodel. flat black paint does not a cool car make. You should have browsed through the forums before you joined, but I'm glad to see you're here to learn. Welcome.
