Northern Ky and Cincy Area Car Shows

Just thought I would let Northern Kentuckians and Cincy People know about a couple of shows soon. August 27th in Newport is the Chilli Cook Off and Carshow. This is a decent show not sure about the price for the show entreis but free to get inn. I hope it gets better used to be great when it was hosted on Monmouth Street. Now its down on the levee.

Also there is one on Sept. 2 at Coney Izland it is the CruizeaPalooza. I have not been to this one but being at coney izland it should be a good one.

Don't forget the Hot Rod Drags and Car Show at Edgewater Race Park this weekend (Aug 20th).

just came from the chillie cook off didnt stay long not as many cars as there used to be. When it was on Monmouth street it took up 5-6 blocks all the way down plus off some side streets. Newport really screwed up when they moved it down to the levee. guess they wasnt aloud to closed down the street anymore..

hopefully they will move it back but who knows......

 

Sunday sept 10th, Eastgate Classics have their drags at Edgewater

 

back was hurting today and couldn't make it down to newports car show.ate some pain killers and took the ol' lady and kids out to filmores tonight but no one was there, about 4 cars.I guess they stopped early it was about 730 when we showed up.that big cruise in up in Wheelerburg Ohio that Blown49 was talking about,If it's every weekend I wouldn't mind going up.maybe meet somewhere and follow each other up there.Does that go on every week or a one time thing?

 

The Wheelersburg cruise-in is the last Saturday of the month ONLY. Next one should be Sept. 30th.

The Milford show is every Friday evening...need to try to get there by 5:00-5:30 to get good parking.

 

that wheelersburg car show i would like to go to it. what road is it on so i can get map directions. where in milford is the friday night cruise....

Milford car show is at the Steak and Shake on Rt 28 Friday nights. I think the address is:
1095 State Route 28
Milford OH 45150

 

For the Milford cruise, take I-275 to Exit 57 (Route 28 Milford exit). Go east on 28, staying on the bypass. It runs around the old business section of 28 and rejoins it about 2 miles east. You run into a traffic light right there, and turn right at the light. You'll see Wendys and Steak & Shake. It's all there.

Wheelersburg is just east of Portsmouth, OH right on US 52. From Cincy I would take Route 32 east and catch US 23 south going to Portsmouth. When you get into Portsmouth, watch for the signs for US52 East. You'll follow that all the way thru Portsm and come out of town where you will see the exit for Wheelersburg. Get off the exit and turn right for the main drag. It's about a 2 hour drive from Cincy.

 

jonathan remind me about the milford cruise and we will run up there in the beater bel air if ya want..

Not tryin' to hi-jack your directions Mac but at the Wheelersburg exit you have to turn left and go under rte. 52 then go to the first light and turn right.

just found out that Piles Chevrolet in Williamstown, Ky on U.S 25 is having a car show on Sept. 2 at the dealership.....starts at 9:00am

As to area shows, Springfield is this weekend! Meet with us at I75 and Union Centre (east side at Bob Evans) which is 1 exit north of I275 on the top side and we can caravan/car pool up.

Ok, dude, is it Bob Evans or the Pancake Factory? In your PM, you said the pancake 'house', although I'm pretty sure the only such thing at that exit is the 'Original Pancake Factory'. There's also a Bob Evan's. Also, the name of the street is Union Center Boulevard, not Union Grove. Hopefully, we make it to breakfast, the little lady has just informed me that we're 'going out for a little while'. Hopefully, I can drag her home before last call...
