I'm bummed to be flying, but I can't wait to get there Thursday!

The speedometers for MPH go to 140 with classic in that series, KM/H go to 200. Sorry to burst his illusion of rebellion, that's KM/H

Got my car done in time, but my body is letting me down. Too many hours in a short period of time. If the muscle spasms stop, I will still try to make it there.

Today was from Revelstoke, BC to the lower mainland (I believe that’s what some call it).
Slow boat from Revy down to Kelowna, but going over the BC Connector I had a couple crazies from the prairies do great Bandit impressions so I tucked in behind and we flew over the mountain.
Hit up the wife and my favourite pie stop. It’s in a little place made famous by a big movie shot there in the early 80’s.

Alright then. Their current ones are 140 mph or 200 km/h. I've posted similar photos with km/h gauges clearly taken by a passenger and been chastised by Americans because "I" was taking photos at "high speed". Lesson learned.

We cheated and towed the car from Calgary to Victoria yesterday. Weather is perfect for the roadster today. Enjoyed cruising around town a bit today looking forward to all the festivities kicking off tomorrow

 

Looking forward to seeing that car in person.

Up with the chickens and prepping for the run to the ferry. Saw a FB post that PC4 is on the same boat. Met his pops back in 2016 at same event. Be fun to meet him on this edition of DD.

In line for the ferry off our little island...will be on the 11:00 (ish) ferry to Nanaimo and then driving down island into Victoria. Will be meeting up with my fellow CanAm Curmudgeons. Gonna be fun!

Actually met PC4 in line for the ferry and had a nice chat about meeting his dad back in 2016. Sounded like his run up from Cali in SIROD was awesome. Bet he really felt like his pops was riding with him. Respect young one.
Not too many pics yet as I was in hot rod heaven and just too damn excited to be here.
Burger and beers on Days Inn patio watching all the action was a great way to spend the afternoon. Looked like the roses guy is passing the torch to a younger (than him) gal.

Told the wife today that we should have taken the boat up and parked it at the dock out in the middle of the harbor. I don't think either of us is up to the walking there right now though. O5SNPRO440 hope I got that right, I'm counting on you to keep posting those photos.

You will see a lot of cars and especially non 32 power parked around town or cruising town Thursday, Friday and Saturday that disappear on Sunday.

 

The black with gold scallops 33(?) Ford kills me, it has the perfect attitude.

 

The 33(?) has quarter elliptics, which was good to see the setup because I'm thinking of doing the same. Hoping to chat with the guy this weekend.
