Someone recently sent me 2 car club plaque photos for my website for clubs that were based in Longview, WA. Both have TCTA added to them and I'm wondering if anyone on the HAMB knows what the TC stands for. One page on my site has different associations and there are pages for the TTA (Tacoma) and CTA (Columbia) associations. Could this be a combination of both?

Anyone in the northwest know the answer to my question?

I THINK, IT MEANS "TWIN CITY TIMING ASSOCIATION " .......
    AS PER Longview/Kelso

Never heard of the Mills either
I have ask around for 50 years, and never talked to ANYONE that have ever heard of the VANGALORS

I have a very small picture of the Vangolors Plaque on a, what I think is '51 Ford,

That sounds like a good possiblity. I'll wait to see if anyone else responds before adding a page for the TCTA.

    Thanks for your suggestion!

I know it was years ago. When Scappoose, Oregon had a drag strip. Ask. Jim Salmon. He lives in L. H. now.

Is Jim the guy with the 59 Chevy?

Next week is Run to the Sun so I may run across him there.

I did a Google search for Twin Cities in Washington and got “The cities of Kennewick and Pasco in Washington state are known as the Twin Cities.”

Someone I know from WA said he thought the Twin Cities in Washington were Centralia and Chehalis. In looking at a map, I don’t think they are very far from Longview so that could be a possibility.

Anyone else from that area heard of the TCTA?
