hey guys,great drags coming to georgia!i,ve been to this show and it was a blast,not much nostalgiac drags going on in georgia,so this is a great show at a great track.the races will be oct.24-26,in the town of cecil,g.a.(12 miles from valdosta,g.a.).it is right off of interstate 75 on hwy.41.....the place is south georgia motorsport park and the event is called southern nostalgia"night of fire".......from what i've read '74 world champ,shirl greer,will be there(super cool guy) and alot of funnys and rails.this event is one not to miss......
yea shirl is a super nice guy he only lives about 10 mins from me i hung out at his rental go cart track and garage some when i was was in high school it pissed me off when bristol had there so called blast from the past shirl loaned bristol his funny car for display free of charge for awhile and they didnt even invite him to this show he only lives about 15 mins from the track they got big daddy and paid him big bucks to show up when the have a funny car champ with a car only mins away who could have used the money i taked to one of his sons at bristol they never call or anything van said they could have gave his dad a couple hundered bucks and he would have done burn outs all night lol . the show ****ed but they should have atleast invited shirl insted of screwing him over

I'll be there, although not driving this time... (had a heart attack last week). Anyhow, any other HAMBers going?
