Nostalgia drags south butler ny

Please keep us informed if they run again this summer. I was there yesterday and it would have been a great time if the down pour didn't happen. From what I did see it was a blast! Wish I had taken more pics but I forgot I had the camera with me after the first couple runs.

Looks like the weather is going to cooperate. We have a new timing system, and lots of calls for info. It sounds like a big day.

My uncle (Roger Stiner, Stiner Brothers) raced there in the 70's. Im bringing him out Sunday morning. Cant wait, I was like 10 the last time I was there.

 

For those of you who are into Dirt Modifieds, Paul Jackson's brother John, was the longtime car owner for Merv Treichler and other dirt guys in ny for many years.

 

I hope we have a good turn out. The weather still looks good. John also was a sponsor on some Busch cars. I know Ricky Craven was one driver.
