I saved the Pics because I was really interested in this Body.


Cheese, Escorts dont have a Chassis.

Even the Mk1 and Mk2's were unibody...
And if you have one of those I woudn't scrap the Body, because they are cool cars to build and modify.
I wouldn't waste my time on the later FWD ones...

 

i knew this old guy who had about 6 of these old racers called (please excuse my spelling) "douche benet" or DB as he called them. they had front mounted air cooled 2 cylinders. really small cars and looked alot like that body. crazy little things.

I am putting a similar thing together......An English version , originally designed to fit a 90'' wheelbase Ford Sit up and Beg Anglia.

Mine started as a 1958 NICKRI but I'm tweaking it a bit !
