Got back from beautiful Montana and a leisurely 6200 mile round trip (!)
Went by the Museum of American Speed, which was a highlight.
Nothing going on, except piddling, getting the 283 for the 40 coupe ready on the test stand.
A good car buddy of 35 years just died of Alzheimer’s, so I really haven’t been in the mood.
You know that it’s inevitable, but it still affects you.
    Carrying on.

Haven't given up, just trying to get caught up with life, working on the 283 for the 40 coupe, putting up pallet rack and getting a lot of stuff up and out of the way. Feel like that guy following the elephants in the circus parade.
    Lot of s**t to shovel!
Anyway, I had put these late model conversion van seats in, but wasn't totally sold on them, even though they were very comfortable.
This 40 pickup seat showed up on FB, with a great price and close by in SC. Went down Sat and picked it up.
Straightened out my stock riser and mocked it up today in the truck.
I think it looks more in keeping with the truck.
Big THANKS to Greg in SC for a great deal!!

IN PLACE. The back isn’t as vertical as it looks. Fits me pretty good.
    Certainly looks more traditional.

Good score. Nice stock seats are hard to find. Condolences on your loss; Seems there has been a lot of funerals around here lately.

Most Excellent choice in seat Bill. Had I known I would have picked it up for you. Good to see progress. Wish there was some going on around here. Have a Merry Christmas and sorry about your friend.

I hate that disease, totally not fair. You live your life storing away precious memories only to have then stripped away before you die. I used to fear death, now I fear a fate that is worse than death. Sorry for your loss my friend. You still have us to kick around.
