...but soon to be published, a new issue of Lead News. As the old-timers at HAMB already know, I used to be editor of a non-commercial magazine called Lead News. The magazines main purpose is to serve as a club magazine for Customs of Sweden, a club that a few die-hard custom guys is running over here. Well, now after a few years in the background, when my growing family did take a lot of time, Im back as editor again and I am trying my best to make it become the dream magazine I ever wanted (during the years Ive also done some work in other magazines; Continental Restyling, Rolls & Pleats, Custom Cars and several more). The magazine used to be 75% customs, 20% rods and 5% music but from the upcoming issue and on the magazine contains nothing but customs, without any lifestyle or music. And of course, as always before, without any advertising! The magazine has been published since 1990, its not a newbie on the magazine scene, earlier covers can been seen at Customs Of Swedens website, www.ckos.org . Lead News is in Swedish, my native language, but a leaflet with a brief translation will be included with the next issue. Its pocket-sized, professionally printed in black and white with colour cover. Its important to notice that I do not make a single cent while working on Lead News, its 100% for the fun of doing it; the whole club thing with Customs of Sweden is just for the fun of meeting other custom car guys. If anyone is interested, send me an e-mail...
for my money and time, anything Per Webb's involved with is a good thing, and that's a fact. good luck, man!
RPW (Per) I look forward to the new issue! They always inspire me,,,Thanks Bro! ,,and Foiled again,,I´ll second what you said! OK Wellsville
BTTT I sent ya an e-mail. I like the idea of the translation leaflet. My wife brought me home some Swedish car mags from a trip last year - nice cars, but couldn't figure out a single word. A lot of languages I can sort of figure out, but Swedish is freaky!
