I recently sold a chopped 32 Brookville hiboy, really wanting to get into a 33/34 chopped hiboy, not really wanting a full build either. Ryan at Hot Rod Works in Waco listed this and at first it was a little more of a project than I wanted to dive into, and I had my A project still on the back burner. Turns out he like A roadsters and we made a trade, and halfway was RJays in Butler Missouri.
I’m going have RJays to the ch***is with a Model Style rear crossmember, ladder bars, channel X, a HRW’s quickchange, my old 4” CE forged axle, maybe drop it to 5” for a low low front.
Plan on a little Small Block Chev or maybe my 392 Hemi, and a 4 or 5 speed.

Hopefully someone can chime in on the history of the body there’s green metallic under primer, and is a 34 with 33 doors. I’ll be posting some adds for parts, will need a lot.
    Pics coming.

Very cool! My phone always tells me the photos are to large as well, I end up taking screen shots of the photos and the they are small enough.

RJays is just down the road, always building a great ch***i!

thanks! I was eyeing how you did your rear frame horns on your last 5 window build. Might do something similar!

For an outsider, what is the major difference between 33 and 34 doors?
    Thanks.

34 cowl has recesses in the cowl for the hood sides to rest on when its up. 34 has the web at the back of the window opening so the gl*** can go back first then down. 34 has stamped ribs in rear wheel inners 33 is smooth....I am sure there is more I am missing.

34 smoker window has the 1" web at the back of the door, ugly for one, and the weather strip feature from Ford is impossible to stop leaking air for 2, and to get the window to function correct...go up...then another half crank and it goes back to open a 1" slot at the front...is a bunch of ****ing around adjustments inside a door that has hardly any access. It should be all done with the door skin off, if we were thinking ahead. 33 window goes up and down like God intended.

40 years ago a local hot rodder had a 34 3-window body the same color green. But it had a rolled rear pan and the top was not chopped. But those things could have been changed since then. I wonder if it’s the same car? It was channeled, and my brother now owns the modified 34 grille that was on the car. It has a flattened bottom, but is done very nicely and rechromed.

The tail pan is new, the cowl doesn't look like the feet have ever been modified, and the firewall is surprising unmolested. Odd color for sure!

IIRC the odd green local coupe body was traded for a very nice 32 5-window body, which my Dad now owns and is very close to being operational again.
