Been so long I can't remember if i introduced myself or not! I was last here asking about seat measurements for my dads' 48 ford coupe I believe. They came out pretty good all things considered and finally he got it legalized for the first time since 1965. I should of made seat covers 20 or 30 yrs ago! I go down to Eugene are and do a car cruise with him every year in Junction City. They close off the town for a few hours and you just drive around. Last year it took 45 minutes to go 18 blocks! It gets bigger every year, somewhere around 1200 cars.

Now I'm on a new mission but will start a new thread for that one. Here's a pic of dad's coupe. The back seat is a different color because i used remnants for the front and had no idea i'd be doing the back also. Was surprised for sure!

Hi & welcome. From what we can see in the one photo the coupe looks nice. No matter what brand car, all the Coupes from the 1940"s were the end of a great styling era that many of us still miss.
Post more photo's if you can.

Shoot forgot to put a pic of the whole car lol Let me do that!

He painted it around 1980 or so. It has tons of layers, first paint job, booboos, lets do that again etc etc. If it's ever painted correctly it's gonna be a job getting all that primer off there. He leaded in the small holes and dents that were in it, he didn't like bondo. But it's good enough for him, he enjoys it.
