Probably not too many people on here from when I was on here before. I actually started back in 2000. I was needed in the war in Iraq in 2003 and again in 2005, inbetween which was more of lifestraightening out time rather than working on car time. Now I finally bought a house, I have a garage, I lost my 60 Buick in the process, but it was for a good cause. Sometimes you have to cut off the finger to save the hand, but whatever. Still have my 64 Comet and finally I'm in a postion to finish what I started. Plus my brother fatassbuick thinks he has a chance against me with his Valiant, but I think I got him beat. I'll post pictures when I get around to it. The garage is a mess. The car is dirty in the not so cool way. And really it's nothing to look at, at the moment.
Glad you made it home safe, Thanks for going... Got a brother in-law over in Iraq right now, he's due home in Feb, got 2 kids, one he hasn't seen yet. On lighter side, we all love to look at pics of dirty old cars... I'll be trying to get some of mine up soon.
Howdy from New Mexico. I want to say I really appreciate what you and the other soldiers did and are doing over there now. I have two Army officer brothers who have been there, and I don't get a chance to thank them near enough. Glad you made it back safely. Nik
Thanks guys, it's no big deal to me, just part of what I signed on to do back in the day. Hell I've been in 7 years now, signed up as a Marine Corps reservist and so far spent about 3 years on active duty, so much for one weekend a month, haha. My car is built on war money.
