    Viewing the Me*** Gene Hetland Deuce Collection auction, I noticed this center cross member. Is it an early unit? I've never seen one like it.

    Must be super early. The motor has a one barrel carb on it. I think they switched to a two barrel later. Im probably wrong on my thinking.

    I thought that the very early ones didn’t have the legs to make it an actual ‘K’ member, such as the one shown.
    Enlarge the ch***is number to verify this !
     
  5. The single barrel Detroit Lubricator carburetor was carried over to the 1933 model year with minor changes, such as throttle linkage on the driver's side.
